Authorship and Contributions
Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development adheres to the principles of transparency and best practices in scholarly publishing as defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). This policy outlines authorship and contribution requirements, ensuring clear and unambiguous attribution of contributions to published works. As an open access journal applying the CC-BY-SA license, authors retain copyright to their articles and grant broad permission for distribution and reuse. This journal follows the Core Practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Criteria for Authorship
Authorship of scientific articles in the Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the research. To be considered an author, individuals must meet all of the following criteria:
- Substantial Contribution: Authors are expected to make significant contributions to the intellectual content of the article, such as conception or design of the study, acquisition of data, analysis, interpretation, and drafting or revising the manuscript for important intellectual content.
- Final Version Approval: All authors must approve the final version of the article and agree to take responsibility for its content.
- Accountability: Authors should be able to explain and defend research findings in a public forum if required.
Contribution Statement
To increase transparency and avoid misunderstandings, Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development may request a contribution statement with manuscripts submitted to Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development. Dispute Resolution

Changes in Authorship
Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission of a manuscript to the Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. Such requests must be supported by a written explanation from all authors involved, providing a detailed explanation of the reasons for the change. The editorial board of the Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development will evaluate such requests carefully and may consult with the journal's advisors and check with the COPE guidelines if necessary.
Honorary Authorship and Ghost Authorship
Honorary authorship (gift authorship) and ghost authorship (uncredited contributions) are not acceptable in Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development. Any individual who makes only a minor contribution to the research or article should be appropriately acknowledged in the acknowledgment section, but not listed as an author. The Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development will actively work to prevent and address cases of honorary authorship and ghost authorship.
Declaration of Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose potential conflicts of interest that may affect the interpretation of their research in manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development. Conflicts of interest may include financial interests, affiliations, or personal relationships that may interfere with the impartiality and credibility of the research. Compliance with Code of Ethics

This includes obtaining appropriate permission to use copyrighted material, obtaining consent from human subjects, and ensuring ethical treatment of animals in research.
Authorship Policy Overview
The Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development's authorship policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to align with evolving practices in scholarly publishing and recommendations from relevant organizations. Any revisions to this policy will be communicated to authors and made publicly available on the Journal of Digital Islamic Economic Development website.
